La Corte Chiusa is the name of the ancient property that houses the cellars of the Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta. It is an important example of Piedmontese rural architecture dating back to the 1800s, and the ideal place for those who want to spend a weekend or longer periods of relaxation among the hills of Monferrato, where cultural, naturalistic, food and wine treasures can be discovered.

 

The bedrooms, a cottage and a bright living room have all been elegantly renovated, with a view of the magnificent porch, where guests can enjoy breakfast.

 

There is no shortage of things to do: you can visit the cellars, the barriquerie and attend some stages of winemaking, tastings and cooking courses. Nature lovers can visit the Rocchetta Tanaro Natural Park. Sports enthusiasts can play on the nearby tennis courts and golf courses or go on equestrian and bicycle itineraries on the surrounding hills. Ancient Romanic and medieval historical sites, castles, churches, abbeys and museums remind us of the important past of this region.

 

Alba, Langhe and Roero can be reached very easily, being a few kilometres away from Rocchetta Tanaro.
