Rollone is a unique blend of Barbera and Pinot Noir. The first vintage was in 2003 when we decided to blend the wines from our youngest Barbera and Pinot Noir vineyards. Since then, it has been a successful union; the elegance of Pinot Noir and the strength of Barbera. The two wines are vinified separately, then blended and aged together for 6 months in small oak barrels.
Drink Rollone young or appreciate it in 4-5 years after the vintage. The bottle should be stored in the dark, at a constant temperature of 15 °C / 59 °F, in a horizontal position.
A great wine to drink for the duration of the meal. Well suited for starters, chicken, pork, grilled hearty fish and beef dishes.
