Colpo d’Ala is a “Super Piemontese” wine, a blend of highly selected Barbera and Merlot grapes from only a few blocks of our best vineyards. Colpo d’Ala is aged in French oak barrels and was created to reveal the great potential of this unique blend.
Colpo d’Ala is vinified and aged in oak barrels for up to 24 months to last for a minimum of 20 years since vintage, improving with time its bouquet and its elegant structure.
Match this elegant wine with almost any food. Light pasta dishes (such as Agnolotti Burro e Salvia, a delicacy from Monferrato), beef, pork, aged- and strong cheeses. This wine can also be appreciated alone, as a meditation wine.
