The Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta are a historic Piedmontese family that has resided in Monferrato for over a thousand years, and in Rocchetta Tanaro since the 1400s. Centuries of dedication and passion in the world of wine: Marchese Leopoldo, who introduced Pinot Noir to the hills around Rocchetta in the late 1800s; Marchese Mario, who moved to Bolgheri and created the legendary Sassicaia in the late 1960s; and Marchesa Barbara, who renovated the magnificent cellar in the center of Rocchetta Tanaro in the late 1990s. Today, the new generation, with Filiberto and Francesca, continues the legacy of this winery, with its long history and prestigious winery, striving to produce high-quality wines with respect for the terroir.

An initiative developed in the difficult period of restrictions due the COVID pandemic but which has moved people and marked the link between the art of ballet and that of wine. With this philanthropic gesture, 33% of the proceeds from all the Limited Edition bottles sold were donated by the Cantine Marchesi Incisa della Rocchetta to the London Theatre in support of the arts and the artists.
